Eldorado Timebank
Exchange your time and talents with neighbors across Eldorado and the 285 corridor — no money needed. Every hour is equal.
Visit the Eldorado TimebankYour Time Is the Currency
The Eldorado Timebank is a community-run exchange network where neighbors help neighbors — using time, not money. For every hour you spend helping someone in the community, you earn one Time Credit. Those credits can then be redeemed for an hour of help from any other member.
Every skill and every person is equally valued. An hour of driving a neighbor to a medical appointment earns the same credit as an hour of legal advice or home repair. This is the core principle of timebanking: all work has equal worth.
Timebanks have been shown to reduce isolation, build resilience, and create the kind of social fabric that helps communities — especially smaller, rural ones like ours — thrive through hard times and celebrate good ones.
Simple, Fair Exchange
Offer Your Skills
Share what you're good at — cooking, carpentry, tech help, gardening, rides, tutoring, companionship, and more. Every skill has value.
Earn Time Credits
For every hour you spend helping a neighbor, you earn one Time Credit. All hours are equal — no skill is worth more than another.
Spend Your Credits
Use your banked hours to get help from other members. Need a hand with yard work, tech support, or a ride to a doctor's appointment? Just ask.
Strengthen Community
Every exchange builds trust and connection across Eldorado. The timebank grows stronger with every member who joins.
How Exchanges Flow
You don't have to exchange directly with one person. Credits ripple through the community — you help one neighbor, and later draw on help from another.
